Basketball Game Preview: Greendale Panthers vs. Pius XI Catholic Popes

Greendale is 1-9 against Pius XI Catholic since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Greendale Panthers will host the Pius XI Catholic Popes at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Greendale will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating New Berlin West, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Greendale walked away with a 68-57 win over New Berlin West on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Pius XI Catholic earned a 67-57 victory over New Berlin Eisenhower on Friday.

Greendale's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Pius XI Catholic, they have also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
