It's playoff time, and Calvert had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Kalida Wildcats on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Senecas' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Calvert was led to victory by Kate Coleman and Bryn Dircksen. Coleman had nine digs and three aces, while Dircksen had four aces and three digs. Dircksen is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Calvert was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 24 consecutive matches.

Calvert's record now sits at 26-0. As for Kalida, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 20-6 record.

Calvert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Miller City on the 1st. Kalida does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
