Soccer Recap: Friendship Takes a Loss

After flying high against Houghton Academy last Wednesday, Friendship came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Cuba-Rushford Rebels on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Friendship haven't had much luck with Cuba-Rushford recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cuba-Rushford, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Coming up, Friendship is taking a road trip to take on Bolivar-Richburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cuba-Rushford, they will be playing at home against Fillmore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
