Collinsville came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-4 to the Okawville Rockets. The Kahoks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Preslie Thomas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Carsyn Moad, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Collinsville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Okawville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
