Volleyball Recap: Mohawk Area Triumphs

Mohawk Area won the last time they faced Sharon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

While Mohawk Area might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sharon scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Sharon lost, don't look at Emmalie Yobe. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Currie, who had 11 digs and six kills.

Mohawk Area's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Mohawk Area will challenge Slippery Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sharon, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against West Middlesex at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
