Toronto Gets a Boost from Kinsey in 68-27 Victory

Starting off the list is Toronto's Zebulin Kinsey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kinsey threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

This season, Kinsey has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 211.8 passing yards per game.

Sadly, Aj Bishop posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Bridgeport over Bishop Rosecrans on Friday. Bishop rushed for 192 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

Bridgeport has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Bishop and Bridgeport will take on Shadyside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tommy Pergi Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Tommy Pergi of Catholic Central. Pergi rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown.

If history really does repeat itself, Pergi might just drop another big game when he faces off against Conotton Valley on Friday. When Pergi last faced the Rockets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
