Softball Recap: Peak to Peak Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Fort Lupton on Saturday, Peak to Peak came back down to earth. The Pumas lost 16-3 to The Classical Academy Titans on Monday.

Peak to Peak saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Trasky, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Peyton Eckert also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Peak to Peak's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-5. As for The Classical Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peak to Peak will host Forge Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Classical Academy, they will be playing at home against Cheyenne Mountain at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
