Baseball Recap: Secaucus Takes a Loss

Secaucus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Park Ridge Owls.

Secaucus' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Park Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Secaucus will square off against Dickinson on Thursday. As for Park Ridge, they will face off against Cresskill at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.67 runs per game on average), something the Owls will no doubt try to take advantage of.
