After a string of eight wins, Edna's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were dealt a 57-20 defeat at the hands of the East Bernard Brahmas. The game marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ashlynn Lemos was her usual excellent self, putting up 27 points in addition to six assists and three steals for East Bernard. Lemos is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lily Alexander, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Edna's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for East Bernard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Edna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-46 defeat against Columbus on the 10th. As for East Bernard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-30 win against Onalaska on the 10th.
