            Roane County won the last time they faced Braxton County and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Roane County Raiders were the clear victor by  a  51-31 margin over the Braxton County Eagles.

Roane County got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Anna Tolley out in front who  went 6 of 12  to rack up 9 points. The dominant performance also gave  Tolley a new career-high in  blocks (two).  Ella Keen was another key player,  putting up nine  points.
 Roane County  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in five consecutive  matches.
 Braxton County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Bailey Pritt, who  made all 6  shots she took to post 14 points. Another player making a difference was  Kendall Key, who  posted five  points along with five  boards and three  steals.
Roane County's record is now 12-6. As for Braxton County, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing South Harrison the next time they take the court. Roane County will head out to face South Harrison at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while Braxton County will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday.
