Baseball Recap: Bluefield Takes a Loss

Bluefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-3 to the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 two weeks ago.

Bluefield's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Bluefield will challenge James Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will take on Tazewell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
