Recap: St. Joseph Cadets vs. Ludlowe Falcons

It was a good run, but the St. Joseph Cadets unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 76-67 to Ludlowe. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (65), St. Joseph still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from Tj Wright, who scored 33 points. Wright hasn't dropped below 16 points for eight straight games. Sean Christy was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

St. Joseph's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Ludlowe, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

St. Joseph will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Trumbull's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Ludlowe, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Warde is ranked 43rd, while the Falcons are ranked 31st).
