Basketball Recap: Ramah Comes Up Short

Ramah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a hard 47-33 fall against the Dulce Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 60-41 defeat last Saturday.

Dulce's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaryonna Vigil, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine steals. Vigil has become a key player for Dulce: the team is 4-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 6-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Amari Castleberry, who posted nine points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds.

Ramah's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Dulce, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-17 record this season.

Ramah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dulce, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 70-31 defeat against Laguna Acoma on the 27th.
