Issaquah had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Emerald Ridge Jaguars 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Shae Erickson (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Giorgia Graham (2027), who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Issaquah's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Emerald Ridge, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-9 record.
