The Crest Chargers came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 63-57 W over Stuart W. Cramer. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Monica Surratt was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with three steals. She hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. Nevaeh Blackwell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.

Despite the loss, Stuart W. Cramer still got an impressive performance from Oshauna Holland, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 50.9% of Stuart W. Cramer's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellia Barajas, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Crest pushed their record up to 13-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.

Crest will take on South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully South Point likes a good challenge. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they will head out on the road to square off against Huss at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Stuart W. Cramer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
