Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schenck). They put the hurt on the Penquis Valley Patriots with a sharp 19-13 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Trevor Vandine was incredible, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April. Another player making a difference was Owen Wyman, who got on base in two of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Schenck's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Penquis Valley, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Schenck will face off against Madawaska on Tuesday. Penquis Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
