Recap: Coolidge Colts vs. Anacostia Indians
With a playoff game on the line, the Coolidge Colts rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against Anacostia by a score of 14-6. Winning may never get old, but Coolidge sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Leading Coolidge to victory were Ronnell Wheeler and Malachi Williams. Wheeler rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown, while Williams rushed for 106 yards on only 11 carries. Jacieon ?Way? Robertson and his 81 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Coolidge's victory.
Coolidge's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Anacostia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Coolidge will take on Maret at TBD on November 25th. Maret knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Coolidge likes a good challenge. Anacostia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
