Soccer Recap: Tell City's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tell City had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Evansville Day Eagles get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The contest marked Tell City's most dominant victory of the season.

Their offense was hitting Evansville Day from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Zaiden Tribbie led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win (which was Tell City's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matches. As for Evansville Day, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2.

Looking ahead, Tell City will challenge Wood Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Evansville Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
