Celina is a perfect 5-0 against Ranchview since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Celina is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Aubrey just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Chaparrals. The shutout was out of character for the Bobcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Celina was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Ranchview came up short against Summit International Prep on Friday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ranchview took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-17.

Ranchview's loss dropped their record down to 6-20-2. As for Celina, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-24.

Celina took their victory against Ranchview in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
