Baseball Recap: Antioch Takes a Loss

Antioch lost against Mount Juliet Christian Academy on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Antioch Bears lost 11-4 to the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antioch will square off against Hume-Fogg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Antioch is facing Hume-Fogg at the right time seeing as Hume-Fogg is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hunters Lane at 4:30 p.m.
