Big Bear never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pacific Pirates as the Big Bear Bears made off with a 10-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.

Chase Wilson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Bristan Gilligan, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory made it two in a row for Big Bear and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs over those games. As for Pacific, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Bear will face off against Indian Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pacific, they will square off against Entrepreneur at 3:45 p.m. on March 6th.
