Softball Recap: Cleveland Central Wolves vs. Yazoo County Panthers
After flying high against Lake Cormorant last Monday, Cleveland Central came back down to earth. The Cleveland Central Wolves fell just short of the Yazoo County Panthers by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 9-8.
Jaida Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Jada Kinney was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
