Volleyball Game Preview: Harvard-Westlake Wolverines vs. Paraclete Spirits

The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the Paraclete Spirits at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paraclete took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Harvard-Westlake, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Harvard-Westlake made easy work of Malibu and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

While Harvard-Westlake might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Malibu scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Paraclete suffered their biggest loss since February 27, 2024 on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Canyon.

Paraclete was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.

The victory got Harvard-Westlake back to even at 1-1. As for Paraclete, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Harvard-Westlake was able to grind out a solid win over Paraclete in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 2-0. Does Harvard-Westlake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Paraclete turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
