Gunn came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Milpitas Trojans on Tuesday, sneaking past 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Trojans back in March, they had to take a 14-10 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Lupita Flores Amaro, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anna Brown, who got on base in two of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Gunn's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-12. As for Milpitas, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Coincidentally, Gunn and Milpitas will both be playing Los Gatos the next time they take the field. The Titans will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
