JaMarcus Byrd put up the most RBI he's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Forest Hill's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't).

Byrd's strong effort led Forest Hill over Provine and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams are limping into the matchup having lost four straight at home dating back to last season.
