Basketball Recap: Westfield School Takes a Loss

Westfield School managed to keep up with St. Anne-Pacelli until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Westfield School Hornets lost 56-32 to the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-28 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Anne-Pacelli to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckayla Hosley, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Hosley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Grace Smith was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Westfield School's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Westfield School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-22 win against Strong Rock Christian on the 8th.
