Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hillsboro put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against the Northwest Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-20.

Kerrigan Blocker paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up ten kills. Blocker got some help from Ava Campbell and her 14 assists. Campbell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-0-2. As for Northwest, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Hillsboro has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against St. Clair on the 8th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Festus on the 8th.
