Basketball Recap: Locust Fork Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Locust Fork had won three straight home games and Levi White did his part to make it four on Monday. The Locust Fork Hornets walked away with a 62-49 win over the Douglas Eagles thanks in part to White, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmad Jackson, who went 8 of 16 en route to 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Locust Fork's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Locust Fork has already played their next game, a 72-57 loss against Cullman on the 28th. As for Douglas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 89-60 win against Asbury on the 28th.
