Basketball Recap: Wyoming HomeSchool Comes Up Short

After flying high against CHASE last Friday, Wyoming HomeSchool came back down to earth. The Wyoming HomeSchool Warrior took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anderson HomeSchool SONS on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Warrior can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 542nd in Michigan, while the SONS are ranked 263rd in Indiana).

Anderson HomeSchool found their leader in sophomore Clark Emly, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Emly has scored all season. Kailani McCloud was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 11 points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Wyoming HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Wyoming HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they have already played their next matchup, a 62-46 victory against FAITH HomeSchool on the 20th.
