Basketball Game Preview: Leadership Academy Falcons vs. West Stokes Wildcats

The Leadership Academy Falcons will head out to challenge the West Stokes Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Leadership Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three contests.

Leadership Academy hadn't beaten College Prep & Leadership Academy on the road since November 22, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Falcons came out on top against the Royals by a score of 70-61.

Caden Ryker was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 boards gave him a new career-high. Walt Martin was another key player, shooting 45% from the field on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

West Stokes kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 59-55 to South Stokes. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Sauras: they've now lost seven in a row.

Leadership Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Stokes, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
