The West Tallahatchie Choctaws won the last time they faced the Simmons Blue Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. West Tallahatchie skirted past the Blue Devils 48-45.

West Tallahatchie's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roosevelt Phillips, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jamarria Bailey, who scored ten points.

West Tallahatchie is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Simmons, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.
