Football Game Preview: Gloucester Catholic Rams vs. Palmyra Panthers

Gloucester Catholic hasn't had much luck against Palmyra recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rams are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Saturday, Gloucester Catholic was beaten by Mastery 52-14.

Meanwhile, Palmyra fell victim to Burlington City and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were dealt a 60-0 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gloucester Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-9.

Gloucester Catholic came up short against Palmyra when the teams last played back in August of 2023, falling 26-21. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
