Softball Recap: St. Bede Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but St. Bede unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 13-3 to the Chester Yellowjackets.

Lily Bosnich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

St. Bede's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Chester, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

St. Bede has already played their next match, a 5-2 loss against Waltonville on the 15th. As for Chester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Wesclin on the 15th.
