If Simi Valley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Camarillo, they should've done a better job of containing Monet Taylor. The Scorpions blew past the Pioneers 3-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Taylor, who had 25 assists and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last four times she's played.

One reason for the win was Camarillo's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.

The victory made it two in a row for Camarillo and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Simi Valley, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Camarillo has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Royal on the 26th. As for Simi Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Park on the 30th.
