Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Spokane). They put the hurt on the Shadle Park Highlanders with a sharp 21-4 victory on Thursday. The Wildcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Mt. Spokane's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Shadle Park, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Spokane will take on rival Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shadle Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
