Bay Springs is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Heidelberg 20-4 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Scott Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Clarkdale, falling 13-1. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bay Springs' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Scott Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Bay Springs beat Scott Central 9-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Bay Springs repeat their success, or does Scott Central has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
