Baseball Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

Howard Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-2 to the East Hamilton Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-3 defeat last Tuesday.

Howard Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Besley, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Howard Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for East Hamilton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Howard Tech will head out on the road to face off against Tyner Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hustlin' Tigers are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for East Hamilton, they will welcome Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
