Recap: C.H. Yoe Yoemen vs. Franklin Lions
The C.H. Yoe Yoemen lost against the Franklin Lions back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. C.H. Yoe took a serious blow against Franklin, falling 59-14. While losing is never fun, C.H. Yoe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Franklin is ranked 131st).
Although C.H. Yoe took the loss, they still got scores from Ja'quorius Hardman and Zach Evans.
This is the second loss in a row for C.H. Yoe and nudges their season record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.5 points per game. As for Franklin, their victory was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
C.H. Yoe will take on Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Troy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Little River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Little River Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
