Eastern lost a close one when they played last Friday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They lost 55-31 to the Wahama White Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 443rd in Ohio, while the White Falcons are ranked 15th in West Virginia).
Connor Lambert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wahama, rushing for 264 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per carry. Lambert really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillan Fields, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
