It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. John Paul II Academy can now relate to. They were beaten by the Chaminade-Madonna Lions 63-0 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Malik Leonard had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 245 yards and seven touchdowns on only 17 passes for Chaminade-Madonna. Those seven passing touchdowns gave Leonard a new career-high. Denairius Gray was in the mix too, providing Chaminade-Madonna with two TDs.

St. John Paul II Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Chaminade-Madonna, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

St. John Paul II Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaminade-Madonna, they will face off against Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
