Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Berkner's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

Berkner won the last time they faced Irving and things went their way on Friday too. The Berkner Rams were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over the Irving Tigers. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Tigers are ranked 829th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berkner has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Irving, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.

Berkner will square off against Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irving, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Irving Tigers take on the MacArthur Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
