Soccer Game Preview: Middleton vs. Riverside

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Middleton challenge Riverside at 5:30 p.m. Middleton has given up an average of 7 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Middleton is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to Scotts Hill.

Meanwhile, Riverside was able to grind out a solid win over Fayette Ware last Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.

Riverside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Middleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Middleton suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Riverside in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 3-0.
