Softball Recap: Laker Drops Highest Score of Season Against Peck

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laker). Everything went their way against the Peck Pirates on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lakers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Laker's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Peck, they moved to 17-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Laker will head out to square off against Vassar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peck, they will take on Deckerville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
