Softball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Franklin-Simpson's victory against Todd County Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Rebels on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-4 win back in April.

The victory (which was Franklin-Simpson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-21. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Todd County Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

As of now, neither Franklin-Simpson nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
