Softball Recap: West Bend-Mallard Takes a Loss

West Bend-Mallard fell victim to Southeast Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-0. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

West Bend-Mallard's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southeast Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

West Bend-Mallard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-12 defeat against North Iowa on the 10th. As for Southeast Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Emmetsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
