Basketball Recap: Ava Miler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Gem State Adventist Academy over Idaho City

It was a proper cat-fight when Gem State Adventist Academy challenged Idaho City on Thursday. The Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars lost to the Idaho City Wildcats on the road by a 54-36 margin. The Jaguars have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Gem State Adventist Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Miler, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Decker, who scored eight points.

Gem State Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Idaho City, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

As of now, neither Gem State Adventist Academy nor Idaho City have any future games scheduled.
