Parkside came tearing into Friday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wicomico Indians, sneaking past 54-52. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly two points.

Parkside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zion Oge led the charge by putting up 15 points. Ta'Layah Clark was another key player, posting 13 points.

When it comes to explaining why Wicomico lost, don't look at Se'Lah Foreman. Despite the final result, she went 14-for-30 to rack up 32 points. That was a full 61.5% of Wicomico's points, marking the third time in a row Foreman has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlisa Johnson, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points.

Parkside pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points over those games. As for Wicomico, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 14-1 and their overall record down to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Parkside will challenge Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Wicomico, they will face off against Cape Henlopen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wicomico is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season.
