Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Centennial's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Centennial had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Palm Beach Gardens Gators onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 two weeks ago.

Centennial is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those seven games. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Centennial will challenge Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jupiter's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Centennial's offense will have their work cut out for them. Palm Beach Gardens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
