Volleyball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games + How To Watch

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was the 2-0 winner over Silverdale Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Seahawks on Friday. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amanda Gardner, who had 14 kills, nine digs, and one block. Gardner is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynne Burkhart, who had five digs and two aces.

Reese Creekmore was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 15 contests.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Silverdale Academy, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences and Silverdale Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Patriots (ranked 106th) will meet Tellico Plains (ranked 254th) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
