Basketball Game Preview: East Vikings vs. MAST Charter II Voyagers

The East Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the MAST Charter II Voyagers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. East has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 28.

Last Tuesday, East took a blow against Coatesville, falling 71-31. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, MAST Charter II managed to keep up with Olney until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. MAST Charter II lost 68-48 to Olney. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Voyagers have suffered since December 27, 2024.

MAST Charter II has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
